The Step-by-Step Training System to Solve your dog's issues in 6 Sessions

6 Session On-Location Dog Training Plan

Sessions 1, 2, & 3 will occur on 3 consecutive days.

Sessions 4, 5, & 6 will occur on weeks 4, 5, and 6 as you work your way through the Steps of the Training System.

Session 1: Initial Evaluation

Best Dog For Life On-Location Training Session 1 starts with the Initial Evaluation. Donna will visit you in your home to evaluate how you and your dog interact with each other to determine the root causes of your dog’s issues. 

You will watch a 15 minute video titled, “What is a Best Dog?”

After the video, Donna will begin the training process by taking your dog for a walk on leash around your neighborhood.  After approximately 20 minutes, Donna will call and ask you to join her for 10 more minutes as she shows you the proper way to walk your dog on leash.  

You will be amazed at how your “disobedient” dog now adores Donna and respects, obeys and responds to her confident and effective leadership.

During this first session, your dog will learn the commands COME, SIT, STAY, LAY DOWN, HEEL, LEAVE IT, and OFF.

Session 2: Gaining Confidence

Day 2 will focus on developing your own Confident Leadership Skills with your dog.  As you gain the skills of a Confident Leader, your Dog's Obedience, Emotional, and Behavioral Issues will begin to Rapidly Transform.  

Every appointment will involve taking your dog for a walk.  On Day 2, you will join Donna for the walk and she will transfer the leash to you as she continues to Coach you.

Session 3: The 3 Day Difference

By Day 3, you will swear your dog is a different dog as its emotional and behavioral issues transform before your very eyes.  Your dog will be a happier and more confident version of itself, and so will you.

Following Day 3, Donna will provide you with the Login  to access the Best Dog For Life Virtual Training System.  Over a 6 week period, you will complete the Steps of the Online course.  

During this time, you and Donna will schedule 2 Zoom Calls to enhance your understanding of the concepts in the course.  

Donna will also analyze video footage of your dog and offer feedback on how to solve any issues you are still experiencing.

Session 4: Savvy Socialization

On week 4, Donna will return to your home for the 4th In-Person training session which will focus on your dog's Proper Social Skills with People and Other Dogs.

Session 5: Practice Makes Best

On Week 5, Donna will return to your home for Session 5.  During this session, your dog's obedience and social skills will continue to be fine-tuned.

At this time, training for Reliable Off-Leash Recall will begin. 

Session 6: The Big Game

The Big Game is the Culmination of all the Skills you and your dog have learned thus far.

Your dog's proper social skills will be tested by visiting a busy area such as Downtown Clermont or a Farmer's Market, where your dog will be expected to follow your lead on leash with no reactivity or rude behaviors.  

Your dog's reliable off-leash recall will be tested at an enclosed field where the leash will be unclipped to allow your dog to leave your side to run and play off-leash.  After a few minutes, your dog will pass the test when you call it to come and it immediately comes running happily back to you.

Upon completion of all 6 appointments, and passing The Big Game tests, your dog will be rewarded with a Custom Best Dog For Life Gold Star Tag to proudly display in its collar.
