Bad Dogs to Best Friends:

FREEDOM

Before Best Dog training, Freedom, the Bernadoodle, was obnoxious and unruly.  His senior owner named Cathy could not control him on walks, and he jumped on her constantly, nearly knocking her over with his sheer size.  She stopped welcoming guests due to his rude behavior, including jumping, incessant barking, and stealing food off the kitchen counter.  Fed up by Freedom’s behavior, Cathy decided to contact Donna to begin the Best Dog For Life Training System.

LIA

Before Best Dog training, Lia the Boxer had caused chaos for her owner, Veronica.  When a neighbor knocked on the door with her little white dog in her arms, Lia, along with her sister, Lola, rushed out the door and proceeded to harass the poor lady with their relentless jumping.  The lady and her dog ran for their lives, while Veronica was helpless to control her dog’s dangerous behavior.

Thankfully, the lady and her little white dog were okay, yet Veronica was humiliated by the fiasco and realized the liability she  had incurred from Lola and Lia.  Veronica decided to take a stand for the sake of her sanity, and called Donna for help.

BEAR

Before Best Dog Training, Bear the French Bulldog had grown from a promising puppy to a belligerent bully.  He pulled the leash, barked and lunged at other dogs, and routinely bit his owner Logan, as well as her guests.  Bear was obsessed with chew bones and aggressively bit anyone who came near them. Logan soon became afraid of Bear in her own home, and that he would bite someone else, resulting in injury and a lawsuit.

Logan contacted Donna for an intervention.  Click below to see Bear’s Transformation from Bad Dog to Best Friend.

WILLOW

Before Best Dog Training, Willow the Dutch Shepherd rescue was severely anxious.  Willow was rescued as a feral dog, and found cowering in fear in the back of a pen at the shelter.  John and Kathy’s heart went out to her, and they brought her home.  Everything in Willow’s new human world was a source of anxiety, including purses, bikes, strollers, baths, and most humans, especially men.

John and Kathy contacted Donna, who they heard was a dog whisperer.

PHANTOM

Before Best Dog Training, Phantom, the heeler mix was a sweet girl, but also rude and destructive.  Phantom was adopted by Michael, aka Santa, who had taken a break from the North Pole and was spending time at his Summer home in Florida.  Although Santa had no problem training his reindeer, he could not control his dog's rude jumping and bad habit of destroying his home, especially his couch.

Then one foggy Summer Eve, Santa came to say, "Donna, with your skills so bright, won't you train my dog tonight?"

SUNNY

Sunny, the Golden Retriever puppy, began Best Dog training at 8 weeks of age.  Sunny’s owner, Chrissy, was thrilled to welcome another Golden Retriever puppy to her family, since her previous 2 Goldens had passed away.  This time, Chrissy wanted a well-trained and obedient companion, since the disobedience of her former beloved Goldens often left her frustrated.

Sunny quickly learned all the Best Dog skills including not to jump or chew on inappropriate items such as hands.  Sunny excelled in all aspects of obedience training including polite leash manners, and the commands of Sit, Lay Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Leave It, Shake, Roll Over, and Reliable Off-Leash Recall.  A year later, Sunny’s confident demeanor was so exceptional that Chrissy was able to take her on a white water rafting trip, to the amazement of her rafting guides.
